Don't you think it's very inconvenient without filters?

If add filter support to this tool will be much better.
(such as , monitor a specific user only, or monitor a specific database only )
And I think it will not cost much time...

briefly - express profiler designed to be used with SQLExpress - usually single user and single production database, so filters are not needed
It is not so hard to implement filters, but GUI will be overcomplicated

But this proposition is good point for future releases

It's fairly easy to add some filters. The duration box is a filter, so just follow the logic there.

I added ApplicationName, TextData and LoginName filters (easy).
I also added ApplicationName as a column (harder).

The "Like" or "NotLike" comparison did not seem to work, it behaves like "Equals" or "NotEquals".
But I found that wrapping the text in % % when using these comparators solved the problem.

This is one of the most useful programs I have ever found!
